He started Dr. Reddy’s Foundation in 1996, with the vision of supporting children & youth from low-income households to access quality education and develop skills to enhance their livelihoods.

Founder Trustee
Anuradha Gunupati is the Founder Trustee of Dr. Reddy’s Foundation. She takes a keen interest in the activities of the Foundation and provides hands-on guidance for education and livelihoods generation programs. Her commitment to ensure quality education for kids, irrespective of their economic status, led to the establishing of schools for the urban poor.

Chairman
Satish Reddy is the Chairman of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Dr. Reddy’s Foundation. Satish has great interest in exploring how human capital can be channelized to add to the productive power of the country. Apart from his business interests, Satish is a strong advocate of responsible corporate citizenship and supports various not-for-profit organizations. Dr. Reddy’s Foundation is obviously one that is close to his heart and as a hands-on Chairman, he takes keen interest in all the activities and encourages the Foundation to innovate and explore new models of vocational education to create sustainable livelihood for the youth of this country.

Kallam Anji Reddy Vidyalaya is a co-educational Day School established in 2001 with the aim of making quality education accessible to children from economically backward homes. The beautiful 8-acre campus with abundant greenery and grounds is recognized by the Government of Telangana. The school adopts the State Board syllabus and prepares students for SSC (Secondary School Certificate) Year 10 examinations.
Education from Nursery to Grade 10 is enriched by excellent teaching staff and facilities focusing on a holistic learning experience. Our school is a renowned educational institution with all-round facilities like a library, sports ground, and computer and science labs that cater to a large student body. The student body comprises over 2,000 students a year and has an alumni strength of over 7,000 students. The school has teachers with an average experience of 8 years and maintains a healthy student-teacher ratio of 30:1 to enhance individualized learning. True to its mission of making quality education accessible to children from low-income households, the school has 80% of students with an annual family income of less than Rs. 2,00,000 which stands as a testimony to the school’s affordable fee structure.

Message from the Principal
I feel very privileged to be a part of this wonderful and rich legacy of 20 years of making high-quality education accessible to all. Education I believe is the greatest gift to children from backward economic classes as it provides the greatest opportunities to dream big, achieve big, enhance their livelihoods, and move up the economic strata.
KARV has always been a symbol of excellent schooling experience. In this respect, we are guided by the idea of supporting every student in gaining sound knowledge, developing skills and values, and nurturing curiosity for lifelong learning. Hence, following a student-centric approach, we strive every day to inculcate in every student the skills of inquiry, creativity, emotional intelligence, and moral leadership, the skills most necessary for individuals and nations to thrive in the twenty-first century. In our three divisions of Pre-primary, Primary, and High School, every teacher and staff member focuses on making learning enjoyable and purposeful and supporting students to become independent thinkers. They encourage children to believe in themselves and dream big.
While the focus in a classroom is to prepare students to become independent thinkers, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities complement all-round development. Well-maintained library and labs, and sports and games facilities, with qualified teachers, offer an excellent opportunity for overall personality enhancement of students.
The school is committed to students’ holistic development and well-being. A pass percentage of 99 in SSC board exams with 47% of students achieving a GPA above 9 stands as a testimony of our greater academic focus. The recent achievements of our football, volleyball, kho-kho, and ball-badminton teams representing in various tournaments across the state and country make us proud and encourage us to invest further in extra-curricular activities for the overall growth of students.
As rightly said by Malcolm X, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” We made it an everyday endeavor to better our curriculum to make our students responsible citizens in a rapidly evolving world. We will continue to upgrade our curriculum and all other facilities offered on campus to make our students future ready. I’m sure KARV education will continue to empower and enrich students and ensure that they become learned and responsible citizens.
