Safety Clubs
Having safety clubs in schools is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of students. Safety Clubs at KARV provide a platform for students to learn about and promote safety measures and practices within the school community. These clubs help to raise awareness of potential hazards and risks and teach students how to respond to emergencies and crises. Safety clubs also provide an opportunity for students to develop leadership and teamwork skills as they work together to identify and address safety concerns.
On 28th December, Mrs. Shilpavalli, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Madhapur) launched four safety clubs at the school to promote the well-being and safety of students in the digital age.
Physical Safety Club: To educate children on how to protect themself from physical abuse among peer groups and from others.
Mental Health Club: To teach the children how to handle the pressure from daily challenges and have a sound mind to have great thinking.
Anti-drug Club: To make the children aware of substance use and its effects of it on both physical and mental health
Cyber Safety Club: To educate children ob being vigilant about and protecting themselves from cyber crimes.
For each club, there will be a safety club convener and planned monthly activities.
School Safety Club logos were launched and badges were presented to club representatives. Each club has a parent community that shared their thoughts and ideas to run the club successfully. Dr. Anjan Kumar has taken special interactive sessions for the students of the 8th, 9th, and 10th classes to make them aware of the safety clubs. Mr. Tirupathi Rao, Circle Inspector (Miyapur), and Mr. Ravi Kumar Sub-Inspector (Miyapur) were also present at the event and explained the importance of having these clubs at school.
